Making A Baby

“Making a Baby” can be found at both the Benton & Bryant branches of the Saline County Libraries in the juvenile section. Goodreads reports it was written in collaboration with a leading LGBT organization. It discusses/shows intercourse, discusses surrogacy for gay couples, IUI, IVF, and that some babies are intersex, with some choosing to make changes to their body as they get older (transgenderism).

It is one more book seeking to indoctrinate Saline County children at a very young age that the LGBTQ lifestyle is a choice for them.

The library should be a wholesome and safe place for minors. The Saline County Library should respect the views of the Christian community it serves and move these books OUT of sections designated for minors. The Quorum Court passed a resolution asking the Library to move the books ahead of Act 372 going into effect and the Library has now refused to do so.

Bathe the Cat

“Bathe the Cat” is in the picture book section (0-7 years) of the Saline County Library It is by far not the worst book in the library, but is a great example of how minors are targeted to accept the LGBTQ agenda CONSTANTLY. There are many books like this being published and purchased by our library.

The library staff claim parents should supervise what their kids read but the book titles often do not alert parents to the LGBTQ content without reading every single page.

The library staff certainly knows the values of Saline County taxpayers and they are spending A LOT of taxpayer money for materials that are in direct opposition to Christian values. About $550,000 is budgeted for books this year. That is a huge budget for trashy books with anti-Christian content. Director Hector is refusing to even move the books out of the three areas dedicated to minors.

All Boys Aren’t Blue

LOCAL LIBRARIANS ARE APPARENTLY RETALIATING…..”All Boys Aren’t Blue” is one the most highly criticized books by parents across America. It has successfully been removed from school libraries in many areas of the country because of its extreme pornographic content.

This book is in the (not) Young Adult section (age 12-18) of the Bob Herzfeld Memorial Library in Benton. I noticed the library has recently ordered SEVEN more copies in addition to the book, audiobooks and ebook they already have available. I WOULD SAY THIS IS IN RETALIATION to the recent outcry to move obscene books. Librarians repeatedly claim they do not have any obscene books. Their stance seems to be if we don’t like it, they will just flood the library with MORE…and they will do it with taxpayer money.

Red Hood

Thankfully more than a few Americans are fighting the same battles against school and public libraries and are combining their efforts to help each other save time. It is very time consuming reading and marking these books and then trying to share them with others and explaining what is objectionable. Ratedbooks.org is one of the sites hosting information on obscene and challenged books across the nation. Our library has a large number of the ones listed by Rated Books.

“Red Hood” is in the 12-18 year old section of the Saline County Library-Bob Herzfeld Branch. Library director Patty Hector has publicly stated multiple times the library does not have these kinds of books.

Ana on the Edge

“Ana on the Edge” is in the juvenile section for 7-12 year olds of the Saline Memorial Library-Bob Herzfeld branch. This book is 379 pages so a lot to review as a parent especially for this age range. The titles in the juvenile section do not always give away the content.

This book is highly acclaimed by StandwithTrans. org and their review follows. The author goes by They/Them and describes himself as queer and non-binary. THIS IS CRAZY agenda and is a LIE pushed on all of us constantly.

The only way for this to stop is for Saline County citizens, and especially Bible believing Christians, to stand up to this lie and do something about it. These books need to be moved because they ARE affecting local children. Ask a middle schooler if this is going on at their school.

Flight of the Puffin

“Flight of the Puffin” is in the juvenile chapter book section (age 7-12) of the Saline County Library – Bob Herzfeld Branch. It’s another of the many LGBTQ books seemingly promoting the Transgender and gay agenda to kids.

The attached independent review even states it puts forward many messages but never coheres as a story. I believe that is because the literary value really doesn’t matter if the AGENDA is pushed.

Why does the library staff buy so many of these books? Why are transgender and gay books for children so important for them to have? Why are they defending them so hard and refusing to move them if it is considered obscene to 99% of the community?
